What is the game about?
Amanda the Adventurer is very unique compared to its other contemporaries. The game starts and unfolds in the manner of a first-person narrative where the player is a little girl who finds a lot of VHS tapes in the attic of her deceased aunt. Riley, the player’s character, starts to go through those tapes.
In those steps, she meets Amanda the adventurer who poses straightforward puzzles. However, depending on the answers that you give the plate takes sinister turns in the terms of the dialogues that Amanda comes up with and her attitude towards her companion Wooly.
Gameplay
Through most of the game the player would be looking directly and only at the TV screen where Amanda could be seen hosting the series of puzzles she puts forth before the player. It is essentially like one of those escape room games. You need to type out your answers once you figure out the solution to the puzzles.
