What is Blade Of Darkness about?
The central kingdoms aren’t safe. A new threat hovers around them. The borders of the kingdom looked after by the fierce knights of the king aren’t secure any longer. Orc clans are lurking around on the roads and inhabitants are fearsome. Strange beasts pro in the dark. Not even dwarves, hiding in their safest places are safe from the threat.
The world is in chaos and everyone is anxious. The memories of the old people can recall some heroes and warriors, faintly who fought against the forces of Chaos. Ianna, the mother of all human beings, gifts an extremely precious sword to the hero to enter the abyss and slay evil. However, that happened a long time ago. In the present day, the world needs a new hero who’s worthy of everyone’s trust and belief. Can you be that hero?
Gameplay
The ultimate goal of players in this game is to obtain the gifted sword from Ianna, kill the evil necromancer Dal Gurak and then enter the abyss to confront the chaos and end it. This final skirmish is accessible to players who have gathered all the runes from the previous levels. It’s needed because all of these runes will together empower Ianna’s sword with the blessing of the goddess.
Now, to get the magical sword of Ianna, players have to ensure they have 6 runic tablets with them, before entering Dal Gurak’s tower. Those 6 runes represent the time of their creation. Besides these runes, memorials and murals are also important elements of the story’s progress.
As you progress through the game, you earn points. These points allow players to increase their gaming levels and gain new special skills, abilities, and attacking techniques.
