Crimson Grey is based on two contrasting characters – John and Lizzie. John is a young boy who is suffering from depression and has lost all the will to be alive. Lizzie has flaws too – she suffered from hallucination and bipolar symptoms. According to Lizzie a shadow always wanted to kill her. She intends to kill others and harm them.
