In Othercide, players control a group of daughters who are fierce female warriors. The responsibility of daughters is to fight against the nightmarish suffering in one corner of the earth known as the dark corner. While the enemies and daughters attack each other in turns, the game incorporates a dynamic timeline system, where players can implement several skills and tactics or strategies to delay the opponent’s attack.
Meanwhile, the team would think of a plan to counter the opponent’s attacks. Every action requires action points. If players exhaust too many action points, the daughter would become tired and her health would deteriorate terribly. She hence would have to wait longer to recover and take action again. Othercide features three classes of fights: the Shieldbearer, the blademaster, and the souls linger. Every character from each of these three classes has unique powers and skills. The best part is that the skills of daughters from these classes can be customised and often brought together.
