What is Relicta about?
Set in the year 2120, Relicta takes place in a scientific research facility located on the moon, named Chandra Bose. This establishment was originally constructed by Aegir Labs, which came up with modern technology before anyone could even think of it.

Soon afterward, Aegir was shut down but the base became a site for a joint scientific expedition to bridge the gap between former warring factions. Presently, Doctor Angelica Patel has been appointed to conduct joint expeditions in the base and to try to find out how could Argir produce such advanced technology.
Gameplay
Players play as Doctor Patel and find themselves straight in the Relicta Chamber. In their surroundings, they find chaos, with alarms ringing and the base shaking. When they enter the chamber, they are confronted by the Relicta. The Relicta has been brought to the base for an inspection. Now, something weird happens, as players get completely absorbed by the Relicta. Now the game flashes back to what resulted in the current situation.
Patel is mostly interested in studying the physics of what is commonly referred to as gravity gloves. These gloves are of two kinds: one red and one blue. These allow specific plates to carry positive and negative charges, by clicking on the left for one and on the right for the other.
In case two crates carrying opposite magnetic charges come close to each other, they are attracted and pull each other. When they have similar magnetic charges, they repel. The gloves can also nullify the effect of gravity on these boxes. That’s what makes the boxes float in the air or fly across long distances without falling.
