What is the game about?
The events of Super Meat Boy Forever take place a few years after the events of Super Meat Boy. This game is about Meat Boy and Bandage Girl who have been living happily without Dr. Fetus for several years and have a wonderful child named Nugget. Meat Boy and Bandage Girl have developed strong feelings for Nugget, and she means a lot to them. They were having a picnic one day when Dr. Fetus swooped in, hit Meat Boy and Bandage Girl with a shovel, knocking them unconscious, and kidnapped Nugget. As soon as Meat Boy and Bandage Girl became aware, they realized Nugget had gone missing and had a good idea of who had taken her.
Gameplay
The gameplay for Super Meat Boy Forever reintroduces the Super Meat Boy plotline, but with a slight twist. Meat Boy and Bandage Girl can now kick and punch, as opposed to being defenseless before. The entire game is controlled by only two buttons: jump/punch and slide/dive. Over multiple levels, players must avoid obstacles and defeat multiple enemies. The game’s levels are pre-made “chunks” that are generated at random and are dependent on the player’s skill level. There are six new levels, each with its own set of secrets. When a player completes a level, it is reconstructed into a much harder but still manageable version.

The characters Meat Boy and Bandage Girl are on auto-runner, and players can only direct them to jump, punch, slide, and dive.
