What is Unholy about?
There is not much known about unholy except that it is a horror game where you will take on the role of Saidah. She is a mother on the hunt for her child who seems to have been abducted by supernatural forces. After all, in the trailer for the game, you will find that there is a grimy and spooky looking empty cradle.
But you won’t be hunting for the child on earth. You will be transported to another planet. The last city, there seems to hold the secrets to your child’s abduction. It looks like the cradle will be the pathway to this other planet. After all, in the trailer, the location changes once you interact with the cradle. As in, you seem to get transported to a more dark and grimy castle-like place. There you will encounter ghosts and ghouls in the quest to find your missing child.

One gameplay trailer has been released till now, which shows first-person gameplay. It seems like you will be solving a lot of mysteries on your way to the castle. In fact, from the trailer, it seems like you will have trouble finding a way to the castle. The castle itself seems to be covered with vines and roads. Also, it looks like there are a lot of roads that lead nowhere.

With monsters roaming throughout, you won’t be able to sneak in without using stealth moves. So it’s expected that you will be crouching and crawling around a lot.

There seems to be a madness meter in the game that you will need to monitor. After all, in such a dark, dingy, and monster-filled environment anyone can go crazy. Not to mention there is the additional stress of finding your child.
- Make plans
You will have to strategize if you want to find your child and topple the regime. One such way to do it is by exploiting the social order of the city.

There does seem to be a lot of labyrinths formed as a result of overgrown shrubs and vines. So you will have to navigate it to reach your destination.
- Hidden objects
In the trailer, there is a mask that you will find while entering a castle-like place. So it seems like you will have to collect objects and clues to find your child or know more about the regime.
